On April 4, the Vice-Chancellor of Germany and Federal German Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) Dr. Robert Habeck and the Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko have signed an Amended Joint Declaration of Intent between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany on the extension of the German-Ukrainian Energy Partnership during the visit of Dr. Habeck to Kyiv.

On April 4, before signing the renewal of the German-Ukrainian Energy Partnership, the Vice-Chancellor of Germany and Federal German Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) Dr. Robert Habeck has visited a demonstration project implemented by the international NGO Greenpeace CEE in the small hospital of Horenka village.

From March 27 to 31, the Ukrainian delegation led by Energy Minister German Galushchenko visited Berlin as part of this year's Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue (BETD) 2023 and the German-Ukrainian Energy Partnership. Minister Galushchenko and Vice-Minister Demchenkov participated as speakers in the official BETD panels on March 28 and 29.

This year's Energy Day took place as a hybrid event in Kyiv on 1 December 2021, shortly after the UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow (COP26).
